What: Restoring a transitional housing unit for the Crossroads Mission consisting of a 1 Bedroom Apartment and a Basement/Laundry Facility
- In the 1 Bedroom Apartment, we will be removing the carpet and vinyl, cleaning the windows, cleaning and painting the walls canary yellow, painting the ceilings white, removing the air conditioner out of the apartment (for Crossroads Mission to dispose of), cleaning the stove, cleaning the bathroom fixtures, wire brushing and sanding the metal cabinets, coating the metal cabinets with Rustoleum.
- In the apartment's basement, we will be sweeping and mopping the floors, moving cabinets, and cleaning the coin-operated washer and dryer.
Where: Crossroads Mission at 1006 Second Street SW. Cedar Rapids.
